1.0 Navigating 校园 Sexual Violence: 第九条 and Prevention Work
This workshop explores the impacts of campus sexual violence, trauma-informed care, where to report, and the importance of prevention work. Through this workshop, participants will gain knowledge and introspection on subjects such as power and control, the 第九条 process, the socio-ecological model of prevention, and the application of trauma-informed care in their work. Facilitated by Kristie Damell, Associate Dean and 第九条 Coordinator and Brittany Gaviria, Prevention Specialist 2.0 Putting It Into Practice
This workshop will dive deeply into how to effectively address difficult conversations through practical application, trauma-informed care, and role-play. This workshop is interactive and involves practicing how we listen to and respond to challenging situations and ultimately where to refer. Completion of 1.0 is not required prior to attending this workshop.
